The ancient Catasti are online at the
State Archive of L'Aquila, where it is possible to select the volume of the "Catasti Antichi", "S104 - Catasto Fagnano e Ripa" and browse through the images of each page. The handwriting is a kind of shorthand, variations in the properties are recorded sometimes with date. The names are only those of owners, not of the family, but there are annotations of who received each property after sale or death, in a time span of about 20 years, therefore each name includes 2-3 pages of writing.
On page 288v appear the words: "summa q catasto finis 28 settebris 1508 gr 292 tarì 209" = total sum of this catasto until 28 sept 1508 292 grana and 209 tarì (grana and tarì being money values). Then two lines below another total, dated 17 febr 1511. Then signatures, then another sum dated 22 august 1521, and again 1st nov 1524.
